Mount Aspiring National Park

Just North of the infamous Fiordland National Park lies an absolute stunner of a park. The initial trek through the valley is definitely on the easier side, which is a great thing because the views would be too distracting for you to do any difficult tramping. We had planned to hike further into the valley and up to a hut perched on a cliffs edge but unfortunately the weather had other plans for us. Instead, we did a few shorter trails to ensure we still enjoyed the park to the fullest. It is amazing what you can find when you get out and explore your own backyard.
